Introducing Coco!
Here is Coco, a 3-4-year-old female Staffordshire Terrier Mix. She is healthy, spayed, vaccinated, and weighs a healthy 60 pounds. Coco is beautiful on the outside as well as the inside.
She has been in a loving home for over 2 years, and they rescued her off the streets of Mexico. They were volunteers in Southern Mexico for 7 years. Their last six months there, they rescued a little 35 pound American Staffordshire Mix from the squatters village they were serving. At first, it was to bring her back to health, more of a foster care situation. They moved from Mexico to Hawaii and back to San Clemente 10 months ago. Coco joined them through it all. Now they are moving back to Hawaii soon, where they will be living in a protected Nene site. Since she is an incredible but a hunter, and they will be living in a protected area, she can no longer be with them.
Coco is loving and amazing with kids, never mouths or growls. She is lovely with their other dog but shows dominance traits with other dogs. She has never latched on but has shown then who is boss. We believe this is fixable with the proper trainer. She loves the beach and the ability to run. She listens and obeys…most of the time.
